Wendy says this about her collection: This collection is inspired by the my love of history.  I picked colors that go well with Colonial era colors to stitch the bird motif which will be available as a free pattern soon.  The bird motif design is inspired by a bird bottle excavated in Colonial Williamsburg. Though developed for hand applique, the 80 wt is perfect for machine quilting as well -- this fine thread weight quilts like silk!
