These ball point gel pens have a Thermo-Sensitive ink formula that disappears with erasing friction on paper. But we quilters love how it works on fabric. They write smoothly and finely and the ink does not smear, it won't wash off or rub off while you need it, but when you are ready, the ink will magically disappear with the touch of a hot iron, (Have learned that the ink is Thermo-Sensitive. That means the lines will disappear in temperatures over 140 degrees and will re-appear at temps of below 14 degrees. I still love them and I'm not worried about my quilts being in those temperature extremes, but wanted you to have all the info.) |

Bohin Chalk Mechanical Pencil .9mm White. Water soluble, can be washed out or erased with any fabric eraser. The chalk adheres to the fabric long enough to quilt the design, but it is easy to remove when you are finished quilting. The mechanical pencil includes an eraser.
