These design walls come in a small tote bag and easily go with you to retreats or classes. There they can easily be assembled. They come with fiberglas poles that are strung together with elastic cords like tent poles for quick assembly. Two special bars are included to stablize the wall. At home many of us don't have a wall to spare that can be used as a design wall so this can be the answer. Assemble it when you need it and put it away when you don't need it. There is a fitted flannel surface that is stretched tight on a stable frame. The flannel is 100% cotton and preshrunk before being measured and sewn to fit the frame. Because it is stretched tight and standing at an angle, adherence is marvelous and pinning is never necessary. A design wall like this will help you create wonderful projects and sharpen your quilting skills. When you are finished, just fold it up and put it away.
